Mini Monday: Wonderwul Annette

Annette is one of the newer members of our team. We have all fallen in love with her beautiful needlefelted sculptures and tapestries. Here's a bit more about Annette:

I live in the Sierra Nevada Foothills, John Muir country. Like Muir I am originally from the Highlands of Scotland. I am a mother of two boys and I spend my time with them, in the garden, needlefelting and cooking! While my dolls are not just for children I do intend them to carry the image of peace and security for young eyes to rest on. I began "Wonderwul" in order to combine two of my greatest passions, working with wool and my boys' Waldorf eduction. (My goal is that "Wonderwul" will finance Waldorf)

Most of my dolls have their roots in the Waldorf tradition, however I am not a purist so they sometimes veer off into worlds unto themselves! I aspire to express a sense of simple, sweet humanity in my dolls. I also find inspiration in the passing seasons and the life passage events of my family and friends. I really enjoy working with individuals to create something unique that brings meaning and beauty into their life.
